Performing Arts Centre Campaign Launch

We've launched our public campaign to raise funds to build a Performing Arts Centre. The campaign highlight is the film created by two talented sixth formers, pictured with Rufus Hound.

On the 25th February we officially launched our campaign to bring the best performing arts facilities to Chipping Campden. We hosted an Open Day at the Town Hall in Chipping Campden, followed by an evening celebration with speeches from Principal, John Sanderson, and our Campaign Ambassador, Edward Bennett (CCS 1994-1998). This is a project both have been working on for over eight years, and it's thrilling for everyone involved to see this ambitous plan finally become a reality.

The School has raised £2,000,000 towards the project from selling some under-used land. We need to raise an additional £1,400,000 in order to equip it to a high standard. We want to ensure that we deliver a professional learning and performing space with state-of-art technical equipment, to inspire future actors, dancers, musicians and theatre technicians. The Centre will also be a tremendous asset for the North Cotswolds and attract a variety of performers, as well as providing a venue for many local amateur societies and clubs. Our fundraising campaign will ensure that we can furnish the Centre with great lighting, staging, acoustics, comfortable seating and high-spec audio-visual facilities.

Please visit our bespoke website perform.campden.school to find our more about the building and our campaign, or go straight to the Support us page on this website to see how you can help us achive our goal.

Thank you.
