A Level Results 2017

Students celebrate A Level results
Our students celebrate some great A Level results - a just reward for all their hard work and the efforts of our dedicated staff. The overall performance was up on the previous year, despite the more challenging nature of many of the qualifications following the latest post-16 review and reforms. Over a fifth of all A Level grades awarded to students at the school were either A* or A (22%), with half at A* - B (50%), and 80% at A* – C. There were some fantastic individual performances; in particular, Henry Oughton achieved the coveted A* grades in Physics and Sports Science, along with an A grade in Maths. Will Packer, Natasha Allen, Phoebe Peters, Tom Chapman, Daisy Blyth, Lydia Dean, Connor Moore and Matthew Webb were just some of the students celebrating a raft of A* and A grades in subjects such as Maths, Further Maths, Physics, Art, History, Geography, Government and Politics, German, French and Economics.
Such strong results have ensured that the school’s top performers are able to take up their places at their first choice Russell Group universities.
Congratulations to all the 2017 alumni. Enjoy the next step of your learning journey, keep in touch with us via our new community website, and please come back and visit School when you are near Campden.
