Now in the final few months of construction, the Performing Arts Centre here at CCS is to be officially known as the Cidermill Theatre (how many of you remember the school's address is Cidermill Lane?). The four million-pound, state of the art building is nearing completion and plans to launch in Spring 2022. We're also delighted to announce Danielle McCabe is the newly appointed General Manager tasked with taking the building from empty shell to full house.
Danielle commented; “I am so thrilled to be appointed into this role, the theatre will offer outstanding performing art facilities for the students of Chipping Campden School and will also be a cultural hub providing access to the arts for the surrounding community.”
There's still time to support the campaign, we have £80,000 left to raise which will fund lighting in the main auditorium and a canopy for the Amphitheatre. You can sponsor a seat, or a place on the oak donor wall. For details, please follow this link.
For theatre updates, you can now follow @cidermilltheatre on instagram, twitter and facebook. Plus, take the opportunity to have your say and shape the future for the theatre by completing this questionnaire here.
Not long to wait now, we look forward to welcoming you to Cidermill Theatre!
