It was when Julian (1999-2006) took some time to interrail around Europe that he became aware of youth travel events as a possible business idea. He studied for a BA in Economics and Development Studies at SOAS University of London in 2006, and directly after was set on establishing his own business with fellow alumni partner Josh Wood. Based in London, they managed an events company organising tourist and student social events, including pub crawls (on an enormous scale!) and nights out in the city, resulting in sell-out events with over 600 attendees.
Following on from this and using the business skills he acquired, Julian is now Chief Operating Officer for Hub Properties, managing a set of buildings in Central London which provide private serviced office space for a range of small businesses. Julian manages everything from client relationships, building management, ongoing site acquisition and building refurbishment.
